Is it permissible for one who believes in God and His Messenger, fulfills the pillars of Islam, possesses noble character, yet harbors some doubts concerning unseen matters, to marry a Muslim woman?

There are two types of doubts:

First: Thoughts and doubts that a person dislikes and rejects, while in his heart he is certain that Islam is the truth. These doubts do not harm his faith; rather, his dislike for them is proof of the soundness of his faith. He should strive to repel them.

Second: When a person succumbs to doubts to the extent that he is not certain of the truth of the religion of Islam or does not firmly believe it is the truth. Such a person is considered an apostate disbeliever, and his prayers or fasting will not benefit him. Firm belief in the truth of what Islam brought is a necessity, due to the clear proofs of truth with which Allah sent His Messenger.
