The hexagram, or Star of David, is a symbol with Masonic and destructive connotations. If a Muslim adopts it out of love for its proponents, they may apostatize from Islam. However, if it is used for play, it is forbidden but not disbelief. The same applies to the Zunār (belt): wearing it out of love for disbelievers expels one from the faith, but wearing it for play is forbidden.
