What is the ruling on me boasting that I am a Saudi from the land of the Two Holy Mosques?

Boasting about one's nationality, tribe, citizenship, or region, and being bigoted about it, are considered acts of ignorance (Jahiliyyah) that Islam fought against. All people are equal, and no one has superiority over another except by piety. A Muslim must avoid these reprehensible behaviors that cause division. However, if a person is from the people of the Two Holy Mosques and resides therein, and mentions this as a way of acknowledging a blessing rather than boasting or showing arrogance, then this is a blessing that should be spoken of, according to the Almighty’s saying: (And as for the blessing of your Lord, narrate it). The virtue of Mecca and Medina is established by legal texts, among which is the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "A prayer in this mosque of mine is better than a thousand prayers elsewhere, except the Sacred Mosque."
