It is obligatory to wash whatever parts of the body the madhy (pre-seminal fluid) has touched. For clothes, it is sufficient to sprinkle water on the affected areas. The persistence of the madhy's color or smell after washing does not matter if its removal is difficult. If the color of the madhy remains after thorough washing, a moist hand touching it will not be harmed, and it will not transfer due to this slight moisture.
