Is the recitation of some verses from Surat Ar-Rahman between each takbir and the next in the Eid prayer an Iraqi custom considered a bid'ah?

The action mentioned has no legal basis and was not reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, nor from his Companions. Therefore, it is among the reprehensible innovations (bid‘ah), as the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever introduces into this affair of ours anything that does not belong to it, it will be rejected." And in a narration by Muslim: "Whoever performs an action that is not in accordance with our affair, it will be rejected." This hadith is a great principle for rejecting all innovations and newly invented matters.
