What is the ruling regarding a son remaining distant from his mother, who curses him and demands his imprisonment under the influence of his siblings who are trying to defraud him, while he continues to send her money?

A piece of advice is to continue showing kindness and maintaining ties with your mother and siblings, no matter how they treat you. For in the hadith: "If you are as you say, then you are feeding them hot ashes, and there will always be a supporter from Allah with you against them as long as you persist in that." And with persistence in kindness, they will turn to it, in fulfillment of Allah Almighty's saying: "Repel [evil] with that which is better; then abruptly your enemy will become as if he were a devoted friend." There is no blame in keeping a distance from the mother if it is more conducive to well-being, while continuing to show kindness.
