Is it permissible to trim or shave the beard due to necessity and to let one's trousers hang below the ankles, for fear of security persecution because of one's religious appearance, knowing that some scholars have issued fatwas to that effect?

It was previously explained that shaving the beard is forbidden, and the argument that the reason for its obligatory growth has ceased is false. As for those who face harassment due to their adherence to the law of Allah, if the danger is real and the probability of harm is strong, they are permitted to take a concession by committing what is prohibited, such as shaving the beard, to avert duress, and not merely based on illusion. Similarly, they are permitted to trim the beard or shorten their garment close to the ankles to ward off harm.
