The answer

The about the Mahdi being from the progeny of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and from the children of Fatimah is authentic. As for the hadith, "Fatimah is a part of me; what grieves her grieves me, and what pleases her pleases me," it was authenticated by Al-Hakim, and Al-Dhahabi concurred with him. Regarding the matter of Allah marrying Ali to Fatimah, there are fabricated hadiths concerning it.
