Masturbation is the deliberate expulsion of semen by hand or other forms of sexual perversion, whereas a wet dream is what occurs during sleep. A person should avoid thinking about such matters so that nothing is discharged from him, and should occupy himself with beneficial things. If something is discharged, then he should ascertain whether it is prostatic fluid () or semen (mani).
