Should a young man with testicular varicoceles undergo a semen analysis out of concern for its effect on fertility, or should he put his trust in Allah?

Allah has legislated seeking treatment and taking means. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Yes, O servants of Allah, seek medical treatment, for Allah has not created a disease without also creating a cure for it, except for one disease." They asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what is it?" He said, "Old age." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and his companions used to seek treatment. Therefore, there is no objection to going to a doctor and taking medicine, as this does not contradict reliance upon Allah.
