My advice is to stay away from obsessive thoughts, despair, and despondency, for Allah is Generous and answers prayers. Allah has legislated treatment for every disease. The idea of abandoning righteousness is dangerous, as sins cause deprivation, and acts of obedience lead to success, facilitation of affairs, and improvement of conditions, in accordance with His saying, the Most High: "And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him from his affair ease." We also point out that it is not permissible to swear by amanah (trust/honesty).
