Should one continue to advise a father who rejects advice and shows enmity towards his son, or should one leave him for fear of the dire consequences of his death while he is displeased?

A parent should be advised and admonished gently, kindly, and compassionately, as the manner of admonishing them differs from that of others. If the father becomes angry due to advice given in the prescribed manner, there is no sin upon the advisor. It is preferable to seek the help of scholars and virtuous people for advice. One must continue to advise as long as there is hope of benefit, but if it is highly probable that it will be useless, it is better to desist.
