Is it permissible for children to divide their sick father's money amongst themselves—while he is incapacitated—according to their legal shares?

A man's children are not permitted to take anything from his wealth or manage it during his lifetime or if he loses his capacity. Instead, his case should be referred to the court to appoint a guardian over him. If the husband of a needy daughter becomes insolvent, her maintenance becomes obligatory upon her solvent father.
