How should I act towards my wife's family, who are pressuring her to reject my second marriage in the new house, despite her prior agreement and consent?

It is permissible for a man to marry a second wife if he is capable of being just between his two wives. This polygyny has been permitted by Allah for many benefits. It is preferable that the marriage be with the wife's consent, but her consent or her family's consent is not a condition for the permissibility of polygyny. Her family does not have the right to pressure her or incite her, as this involves corrupting his wife against him, and a severe warning has been issued regarding this.
