Are there any supplications or remembrances to be said upon seeing the sun, or at its rising or setting?

Some hadiths and traditions contain supplications to be recited at sunrise and sunset, even if they are not strong. However, when it comes to merely seeing the sun, no specific ذكر (remembrance/utterance) has been reported for that moment.

Al-Nawawi reported in "Al-Adhkar" with a weak chain of transmission from Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri that when the sun rose, the Prophet (peace be upon him) would say: "Praise be to Allah, who has granted us His well-being today and brought the sun from its rising place. O Allah, I have risen bearing witness to You, as You have borne witness to Yourself, and as Your angels, the bearers of Your Throne, and all Your creation have borne witness, that You are Allah, there is no god but You, the Maintainer of justice, there is no god but You, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. Write my testimony after the testimony of Your angels and those of knowledge. O Allah, You are Peace, and from You is Peace, and to You is Peace. I ask You, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor, to answer our supplication, to grant us our desire, and to enrich us from those of Your creation from whom You have enriched us. O Allah, rectify for me my religion, which is the safeguard of my affair, and rectify for me my worldly life, in which is my livelihood, and rectify for me my hereafter, to which is my return."

He also reported therein, on the authority of Abdullah bin Mas'ud, an utterance attributed to him (mawquf), that when he was informed of the sunrise, he said: "Praise be to Allah, who has bestowed upon us this day and forgiven us our stumbles therein."
