No specific remembrance (dhikr) or supplication (dua) for the Maghrib prayer has been authentically reported in the sound hadiths. General morning and evening remembrances have been reported, which can be recited after Maghrib.

- The hadith "La ilaha illa Allah wahdahu la sharika lah..." ten times after Maghrib is weak, but the remembrance itself is reported among the morning and evening remembrances. - The hadith "Allahumma inna hadha iqbalu laylik..." at the time of the Maghrib adhan is weak, and it should not be regularly timed as an act of worship. - The hadith "Ya Muqallib al-qulub thabbit qulubana ala dinik" after Maghrib is very weak, and the correct approach is to frequently supplicate with it at all times. - The hadith "Allahumma ajirni min an-nar" seven times after Maghrib is weak; the hadith about asking for Paradise and seeking refuge from the Fire three times suffices instead.
