Is it permissible to combine the Asr prayer with the Friday prayer in the Grand Mosque of Makkah in order to obtain the virtue of both prayers, and then return to Jeddah?

Due to the continuous urban development between Makkah and Jeddah, the distance between them is no longer a distance that permits qasr (shortening prayers). Consequently, it is not permissible to shorten the 'Asr prayer and perform it immediately after the Jumu'ah prayer, as there is no longer a reason for combining and shortening. Based on this, all 'Asr prayers that were shortened and performed after Jumu'ah must be made up. This making up of prayers should continue until one is reasonably certain of having cleared their liability, especially if the exact number of missed prayers is unknown.
