Is it permissible for a traveler to combine Asr prayer with Jumu'ah prayer?

The Jumu'ah prayer is not combined with the Asr prayer. Rather, Dhuhr is combined with Asr, and Maghrib with Isha. And whoever prays Asr with Jumu'ah, their prayer is invalid and must be repeated, because prayer before its time is not correct, due to the Almighty's saying: "Indeed, prayer has been decreed upon the believers a [definite] time." (Quran 4:103). It is not valid to analogize combining Asr with Jumu'ah to combining it with Dhuhr, for Jumu'ah is an independent prayer with its own rulings. The fundamental principle in acts of worship is prohibition unless there is evidence, and there is no evidence permitting the combining of Asr with Jumu'ah.
