What is the ruling on the marriage of a sister who had her hymen surgically restored after committing fornication, then married without waiting for a menstrual cycle to ensure the womb was clear, knowing that she married legitimately according to the madhhab of Imam Abu Hanifa al-Nu'man, who does not stipulate ensuring the womb is clear, and that her husband consummated the marriage with her and she has menstruated four times since the marriage?

Adultery is a grave sin, but a servant's repentance is met with divine forgiveness; for Allah rejoices in those who repent. Conditions for repentance: abandoning the sin, regretting it, resolving not to return to it, and concealing it without publicizing it. If your sister repents, let her conceal her sin. Her marriage before establishing istibra' (clearing of the womb) is valid according to the Hanafis and Shafi'is, and it is narrated from Abu Bakr and Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both; because the iddah (waiting period) is for preserving lineage, and no lineage is attributed through adultery. She should not pay attention to the whispers of Satan, and she should remain steadfast in her repentance and increase in good deeds.
