Your Eminence, Sheikh: What is the difference between a "maṭlab" (point/section), a "mabḥath" (discussion/research), and a "dars" (lesson/lecture)?

These are terms used by scholars to categorize a topic and clarify its details. They divide a lesson into several "mabahith" (sections), and under each "mabhat" are several "matalib" (sub-sections). A "dars" (lesson) is more general than a "mabhat," and a "mabhat" is more general than a "matlab." All of this is conventional terminology.
