What are the corrupting influences of adultery/fornication?

Adultery is one of the gravest sins, reprehensible by sacred law and abhorrent by nature. Allah the Almighty described it in the Quran as an abomination, hateful, and an evil way. These descriptions indicate its extreme vileness. Among its ill effects are: the loss of lineage, the denial of associated rights such as inheritance and maintaining kinship ties, the loss of grace, sorrow of the soul, torment in the grave, the wrath of the Lord, and the spread of diseases and epidemics like plague and pains that were previously unknown.
