What is the ruling on one who interrupts his solitary prayer due to doubt about forgetting a pillar, or due to loud noises? What is the ruling on one who repeats prayer due to doubt? Is his prayer invalidated if he swears not to repeat it then repeats it? Does fasting for three days nullify this oath? Is it a condition to say the Tasleem (salutation of peace) when concluding the prayer? What are the consequences of not saying the Tasleem?

1. The person who suffers from obsessions and doubts repeats an action believing they have not performed it. The cure for obsession is to disregard it and pay no attention to it.

2. Whoever cuts their prayer or rejects the intention for any reason, their prayer becomes void. Loud noises or doubt about leaving a pillar do not invalidate the prayer nor justify cutting it. The person suffering from obsessions should not pay attention to doubts, and prostration of forgetfulness (sujud al-sahw) is not required of them.

3. If a person swore not to repeat a prayer and then repeated it, an expiation for a broken oath (kaffarat yamin) is required of them (feeding or clothing ten poor people, or freeing a slave; if unable, then fasting for three days). The repeated prayer is valid and is not invalidated due to the breach of the oath.

4. Interrupting prayer occurs through an action that contradicts it, such as speaking, eating, or rejecting the intention, and is not limited to saying the taslim.
