Is a husband entitled to refuse his wife's request to conceive again due to the exorbitant financial costs of essential pregnancy medications, which cause his wife pain and skin deformities, especially given the availability of an affordable, yet painful and unacceptable, alternative for the wife, and in light of the husband's difficult financial circumstances?

The spouses are advised to supplicate to Allah to rectify their situation, facilitate the pregnancy, and remove the causes of the embryo's lack of heartbeat. For Allah Almighty has enjoined supplication and promised to answer it. Procreation is one of the most important objectives of Islam in marriage, and the wife's desire for it is an innate need. The husband should help her achieve this desire and treat her well. The husband is not obliged to buy medications if he is not financially capable. Rather, he is obliged to give her her right to intercourse and companionship, and not to practice coitus interruptus or similar acts that prevent her from conceiving, unless with her permission, because she has a right to a child. There must be mutual understanding and respect between the spouses, and caution against discord.
