You are afflicted with a degree of waswasah (obsessive whispering), and we advise you to avoid and disregard it. It is not necessary to use soap to remove impurity (najāsa) from the body or clothing; rather, the impurity is washed with water only. Any trace that water cannot remove is pardoned. What is obligatory is to wash impure clothes with water, and water is sufficient to remove the impurity. Any remaining trace that water does not remove is pardoned, and it is not obligatory to use soap to remove it.
