The answer

It is permissible to deal in company shares if they are pure, their activity is permissible, and they do not engage in usury, whether through deposits or loans. As for mixed shares, which are shares of companies with permissible activities that borrow or deposit with usury, two resolutions have been issued by Islamic Fiqh Academies prohibiting dealing in them. These shares must be disposed of by selling them, and usurious profits must be purified by spending them on charitable causes. It is forbidden to deal in futures options contracts for shares due to the element of (excessive uncertainty), and because the right of option being contracted upon is neither wealth nor a benefit that can be compensated for, whether the option is for the seller or the buyer.
