How can one generate the necessary desire and love to embrace and adhere to Islam, especially when facing despair and frustration resulting from worldly temptations and life's difficulties, if intimidation is ineffective and one wishes to embrace Islam out of love and desire, not fear?

This worldly life is a realm of trials and a prison for the believer. Prophets and righteous individuals, such as Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, his companions, and the Imams, were all tested within it. The poverty and hardship that a person experiences are incomparable to what befell them, yet they were content and grateful to Allah. They understood that this world is not the final destination, and that the Hereafter is better and more enduring, and that the bliss of Paradise makes one forget all the misery of this world. Worries and tribulations are the fruit of turning away from Allah. Therefore, a person must repent, endure Allah's decree and destiny with patience, fulfill what Allah has obligated upon them, and avoid what He has forbidden, before it is too late.
