Is it permissible to work for a company that requests the modification of technical data on a computer to conceal defects in a product, given that the original intention is to fix these defects, and the customer pays the invoice based on this modified data?

"Manipulating data through fraud and deception is impermissible, as it leads to unlawfully consuming people's wealth, and everyone involved in it is sinful. The defect must be disclosed to the buyer; if he accepts it, then so be it, otherwise, the workers should rectify it. Sustenance is decreed, so do not seek it through disobeying Allah. Those in charge of the company must be advised about the prohibition of deception and its consequences. If they do not respond, then request a transfer to another job (And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out and will provide for him from where he does not expect)."
