A student of Islamic knowledge is advised to purify their intention for Allah, seek His help, adhere to a pious and knowledgeable shaykh, and begin with concise texts. As for specific books, in (Quranic exegesis), "Al-Tafsir Al-Muyassar" or "Al-Mukhtasar fi Tafsir Al-Quran Al-Karim" are recommended. In (Prophet's biography), "Al-Raheeq Al-Makhtum" (The Sealed Nectar) is suggested. For authentic Ahadith, "Tayseer Al-Allam Sharh Umdat Al-Ahkam" is recommended. In سلوك (conduct) and آداب (manners), "Riyadh As-Salihin" (Gardens of the Righteous) is advised.
