It is not necessary to buy a paper shredder to dispose of papers. One can erase the name of Allah or cut it out from the paper, or keep papers that contain Quranic verses and the names of Allah. The intention is not to desecrate them in any way. If you are able to explain the ruling on respectful papers and how to deal with them, that would be preferable.
