How can one dispose of law school textbooks that contain Quranic verses and noble Prophetic traditions, and is it permissible to discard them after completing one's studies?

It is not permissible to discard papers containing verses, hadiths, or the names of Allah in a place where they might be disrespected. Rather, they must be preserved or disposed of by burying, burning, or shredding with a machine that leaves no trace of the words and letters, out of reverence for the sacred things of Allah. And whoever sees them in a defiled place and does not remove them, he departs from the fold of Islam.
