How is inheritance divided among: one full brother, one wife, and one uterine sister?

If the heirs are limited to: the wife, the sister from the mother's side, and the full brother, then the inheritance is divided as follows:

The wife: receives one-fourth (ar-rubu') as a prescribed share (fard), due to the deceased having no child. The sister from the mother's side: receives one-sixth (as-sudus) as a prescribed share (fard). The full brother: inherits the remainder by residuary right (ta'sib).

The inheritance is divided into 12 shares: the wife receives three shares, the sister from the mother's side receives two shares, and the remainder goes to the full brother.

It is advisable to submit inheritance cases to the Sharia courts for investigation, to ensure that there are no other heirs, wills, debts, or rights that take precedence over the rights of the heirs.
