What is the ruling on a wrestling game that is free of music and nude images, and is it permissible to play it without the father's knowledge if it is halal?

There is no harm in the sport of wrestling if it is free from forbidden things such as music and nude images. However, wrestling that involves harming the opponent is forbidden. Therefore, boxing, freestyle wrestling, and similar activities are forbidden due to the harm they cause, unless there is no harm to either party, or if it accustoms a person to strength, fighting, and self-defense. If a father forbids his son from wrestling, then obedience to him is obligatory if he has a valid reason for it. Indeed, the father's pleasure is one of the easiest paths to Paradise. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The father is the middle gate of Paradise, so if you wish, you may abandon this gate or preserve it."
