Does the 'Aqiqah obligation for the husband fall if he cannot slaughter two sheep due to his many debts?

The 'aqiqah is a confirmed Sunnah, not obligatory for the poor or those in debt. There is no blame on one who did not perform 'aqiqah for their children due to financial hardship and limited provisions. If Allah eases their situation thereafter, they may perform 'aqiqah for them. It is also permissible for someone else to perform the 'aqiqah on behalf of the newborn. If the 'aqiqah conflicts with Hajj, Hajj takes absolute precedence. It is permissible to perform 'aqiqah for adults, and it is not a condition to cook its meat or invite people to it. Rather, it is permissible to distribute its meat raw or cooked.
