Is it permissible for a Muslim to perform some acts of worship, such as supplicating for the girl he loves in prostration and after glorification, supplicating for her upon passing verses of Paradise in prayer, dedicating supererogatory prayers to earnestly supplicate for her and for himself, lowering his gaze from what is forbidden not because of its unlawfulness but for fear that Allah may empower someone to expose his deeds, and seeking forgiveness for her with the intention that she becomes his?

Regarding the questions, the answer has been divided into several issues:

First Issue: Concerning supplicating for oneself and one's beloved during prostration (sujud), it is preferable to begin by supplicating for oneself, then for others, following the example of Ibrahim and Nuh (peace be upon them). Second Issue: Regarding supplication when Paradise is mentioned in prayer, please refer to Fatwa No. 66554. Third and Fourth Issues: There is no harm in dedicating a prayer for the aforementioned supplication. Fifth Issue: Abandoning sins must be purely for the sake of Allah Almighty, and not merely for a worldly objective; otherwise, there is no reward in it. One must strive against their soul to avoid what is forbidden, out of fear of Allah's punishment and hope for His reward, while also lowering one's gaze. Sixth Issue: It is preferable for seeking forgiveness (istighfar) to be done with the fingertips of the right hand, as it is confirmed that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to count glorifications with his right hand. There is no objection to saying "Allahumma ighfir laha" (O Allah, forgive her), and it is better to do so with the fingers because they will bear witness for their owner on the Day of Judgment.

In conclusion, the advice is for the heart to be attached to Allah Almighty, not to a fleeting creature.
