The answer

Enjoining good and forbidding evil is an obligation upon a Muslim towards his Muslim brother, as stated in the Hadith: "Religion is [sincere] advice." Therefore, one must advise relatives and guide them to the truth. If they do not respond and persist in disobedience, then do not associate with them. This is not considered abandonment or severing kinship ties, as long as refraining from associating does not lead to a greater harm.
