How does a woman make up for the Ramadan fasting days she missed due to intermittent menstruation (5 days at the beginning of the month and 3 days at its end), and should she fast these days consecutively or intermittently?

A woman does not fast or pray during menstruation. When she becomes pure, fasting and prayer become obligatory for her. Any blood a woman sees during a time suitable for menstruation is considered menstruation. The criteria for this are that it should not exceed fifteen days and nights, nor be less than one day and night, and the period of purity between two menstruations should not be less than thirteen days and nights. So, if she sees blood for five days, then sees it for three days after an interruption exceeding thirteen days, the second bleeding is considered menstruation. If the blood is not suitable to be considered menstruation, then the woman is in a state of istihada (non-menstrual bleeding).
