Is it permissible for my wife to perform tayammum if she cannot tolerate ablution with cold or warm water due to illness?

The wife should do her utmost to use water for ablution by taking measures that assist in this, such as performing ablution in a warm, tightly sealed place, drying her limbs, and moisturizing them. If she finds that all of this does not prevent harm from befalling her due to the use of water, then there is no blame upon her at that point in performing tayammum, because of Allah's saying: "And if you are in a state of janabah, then purify yourselves. But if you are ill or on a journey or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself or you have contacted women and find no water, then tayammum with clean earth and wipe over your faces and hands with it." (Al-Ma'idah: from verse 6).
