Does the sutra of those who are being led in prayer (masbuqin) end after the Imam's salutation?

If the Imam departs, the latecomer is considered as one praying alone in terms of the sutrah. It is permissible for the worshipper who is behind the Imam to move to take a sutrah close to him, whether in front of him, behind him, to his right, or to his left. If the sutrah is far, he prays in his place and repels whatever passes in front of him.
