I want to seek Islamic knowledge but do not have money. What should I do?

Poverty does not prevent one from seeking knowledge. The matter requires perseverance, patience, sincerity of intention, and good purpose, as well as seeking Allah's help and relying on Him. This is confirmed by the fact that many imams of knowledge were poor.

Imam Malik mentioned that knowledge cannot be attained until one tastes the bitterness of poverty in its pursuit.

It is narrated that Rabia became so poor in his pursuit of knowledge that he sold the wood from his house's ceiling and would eat whatever he found of raisins and date syrup.

Imam Al-Shafi'i said: "No one seeks this knowledge with wealth and a proud spirit and succeeds. Rather, whoever seeks it with humility, a narrow livelihood, and reverence for knowledge, succeeds."

Al-Shafi'i mentioned that he was an orphan and used to write knowledge on bones because his mother could not afford to buy paper. His mother even mortgaged her house so he could prepare for a journey with the governor of Yemen.

Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, used to stay with the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, to fill his stomach. He would pat his stomach with pebbles due to hunger and would ask a man to recite a verse (from the Quran) so that he might be fed.
