It is best for a Muslim to name their sons and daughters with good names that have known meanings, as in the Hadith: "Indeed, you will be called on the Day of Resurrection by your names and your fathers' names, so make your names good." The name "Kadi" has two meanings: a type of tree (whoever smells it will have a nosebleed, and its leaves are like aloe vera leaves; if thrown into fire, they do not burn), and a tree resembling a palm tree that grows in India, China, and the southern Arabian Peninsula. It is permissible to name a girl with this name, but it is preferable to choose other good names, such as those related to the female Companions.
