Is it permissible to use specific Quranic verses to recite in front of a person in order to reclaim usurped rights from them?

The landlord does not have the right to compel you to do something not agreed upon, or to demand advance rent contrary to the agreement, or to incite shop owners, or to seize the land and shops before the expiry of the agreed-upon term. This is because it is a breach of the contract which Allah has commanded to be fulfilled. You must resort to the Sharia courts to present your case and provide evidence. As for the person who asked you to look into his face and recite verses, he is a charlatan sorcerer who seeks help from jinn, and this is forbidden. Do not believe him or do what he commanded you to do. The loss of money is easier to bear than disobeying the commands of Allah.
