Is it permissible for a menstruating woman to enter the mosque to attend a study circle or a Quran memorization circle, given that she is regular in attendance and might miss important matters? The majority of jurists are of the opinion that it is not permissible for a menstruating woman to stay in the mosque, citing the hadith (definition) of Umm Atiyyah, in which the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded menstruating women to abstain from the Eid prayer ground. Since the Eid prayer ground has the ruling of a mosque, this indicates her prohibition from entering the mosque. However, they permitted a menstruating woman to pass through the mosque if there is a need and she is safe from defiling it.

It is permissible for a menstruating woman to recite the Quran without touching the Mushaf (definition), or from a printed Mushaf that includes tafsir (definition), if the tafsir is more extensive than the verses. To avoid missing lessons, a menstruating woman can listen to them recorded, or from outside the mosque, or sit in the mosque's annexes that do not take its ruling.
