Is a penitent man required to return the full amount he stole (one hundred thousand), or is he only required to return his share (fifty thousand), knowing that the theft was committed jointly by him and another person?

Assaulting people's wealth is forbidden in Islamic law. The aggressor must offer sincere repentance and return the rights to their owners, because "what the hand has taken, it must return until it pays it back." And whoever has been wronged should seek absolution before the Day of Judgment. The repentant person is obligated to return the full stolen amount, even if others shared in it, because each partner guarantees the entire wealth due to their mutual strengthening, and thereafter he may claim from his partner what he paid on his behalf.
