What is the ruling on using hashish oil, is it impure (najis), and is it considered the same as the well-known harmful hashish, or does it differ in its components?

Oil extracted from intoxicating cannabis, if nothing is added to it that changes its properties and removes its intoxicating effect, then it is considered like alcohol. It must be poured out. It is not permissible to sell it, buy it, or benefit from it for treatment or anything else. It is impure, due to the Almighty's saying: (Indeed, intoxicants and gambling — to His saying — are a defilement). However, if this oil has no relation to intoxicating cannabis, or if it was extracted from it and then treated and had something added to it that removed its properties so it is no longer intoxicating, then there is no harm in using it; because transformation and consumption are purifiers.
