It is preferable for the call to be made through women, such as the caller's wife or one of his mahārim, or through tapes, letters, and books. There is no objection to direct calling by a man, provided that legitimate Islamic guidelines are observed. It is desirable for the call to be in a publicized group lesson discussing the importance of repentance without directly addressing a specific person. Among the important means are also: burdening women with the responsibility of raising generations, assigning them research on upbringing and righteousness, and involving them in faith-based courses.
