Is repentance accepted from one who communicated with foreign men and sent them her pictures and met with them? Will God conceal her? And must she inform whoever proposes to her of what she has done?
You must thank Allah for the blessing of realizing a mistake and returning to the truth. This is done by acknowledging the blessing in the heart, praising and lauding with the tongue, and performing good deeds with the limbs, while remembering the vastness of Allah’s mercy and forgiveness for those who repent with sincere repentance, and that Allah forgives all sins. One should frequently supplicate and ask for well-being and concealment, and not despair of a prayer being answered due to a sin, for Allah may answer even the disobedient. One should not abandon spreading good and beneficial knowledge because of committing a sin; rather, enjoining good and forbidding evil is obligatory. It is not permissible to inform the suitor about what happened in the past; instead, one must conceal their own faults. It is recommended to seek help from righteous women to find a righteous husband.
