How can the people of Paradise be happy when they know that some of their loved ones are in Hellfire?

There is no sorrow or grief for the people of Paradise; rather, they are in perpetual bliss, and the presence of their relatives in Hellfire will not mar their happiness. This is due to their knowledge of the religious ruling and their submission to divine wisdom, in addition to their immense bliss making them forget what others are experiencing. This is evidenced by two situations:

1. The situation of Ibrahim (peace be upon him) with his disbelieving father: On the Day of Judgment, his father Azar will be transformed into a hyena and cast into Hellfire, and Ibrahim will submit to Allah's decree that Paradise is forbidden to disbelievers. 2. The situation of a believer from the people of Paradise with his friend in Hellfire: A believer sees a friend of his in the midst of Hell, and he is not afflicted by sorrow. Instead, he thanks his Lord for guiding him and saving him from disbelief and Hellfire, and he becomes preoccupied with his bliss.
