What are the duties and characteristics of a woman who wears the hijab?

The duties and characteristics of a veiled Muslim woman are the duties of every Muslim, such as performing the obligatory acts of worship, safeguarding the rights of people, especially parents, husband, and children, and inviting to Allah through word and deed. A Muslim woman must adorn herself with the noble morals of Islam, both outwardly and inwardly, such as guarding her tongue, preserving her time, and interacting with people in a good manner. The Quran has mentioned the characteristics and duties of believers, among them: "Successful indeed are the believers who are humble in their prayers, and who turn away from idle talk, and who are active in deeds of charity, and who guard their private parts, except from their wives or those whom their right hands possess, for indeed, they are not to be blamed – but whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors; and who are to their trusts and their covenants faithful, and who strictly guard their prayers. Those are indeed the inheritors who will inherit Firdaws (Paradise), they will abide therein eternally" (Al-Mu'minun: 1-11). And also: "And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them, they say, 'Peace'" (Al-Furqan: 63).
