It is permissible to treat oneself by placing honey on the navel, due to the Almighty's saying: "In it is healing for people," and due to the action of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Also, it is used as an ointment for burns and wounds, and many have tried it and found healing in it. This is not considered sorcery.
