Is the ruling on laser lip tinting, which lasts for months, unlawful and considered like tattooing, or not?

It is not permissible to plump the lips with laser or injections, as this involves altering Allah's creation, in accordance with His saying, the Exalted: "And I will surely command them, and they will alter the creation of Allah." However, if the alteration is due to a defect or illness, then it is permissible.
